Too much?
So I have this friend...

She taught me a really evil way to make me gain 1,000 pounds. This is the product of an hour, two bags of milk chocolate chocolate chips, and two pounds of pretzels. Double boil the chocolate chips and dunk away! I prefer the sprinkles.
But here's the thing.
Did you see the stats above? 2 pounds of pretzels?!
5 batches. Do you think I went overboard??

I'm alive...
Hi all,
It has been a long time since my last post, and for that I apologize. I've attempted to stay in touch by updating on Twitter (it loads on the right hand side of my blog), but it really isn't enough. Between me getting sick twice, my grandmother passing away, and now my mom's surgery I've just been too stressed to put everything into written word. But I'm back (sort of) and trying to make up for it.
I am booking some portrait sessions and some more are on their way, which truly excites me. I want to be taking more pictures and people are so interesting to photograph. Everyone is different, so every session is different and I'm new enough to this type of photography that the unknown is super scary, but I absolutely love it. It's a good kind of nervous, I like that photography keeps me on my toes.
In more personal news, my grandmother's passing was very sudden and we're still dealing with it. Slowly, each day, we become more used to the idea of her not being around and although I didn't see her more than a few times a year, we will all certainly realize she's gone when Christmas comes around this year. My grandpa is doing better, this is a lot of stress for him to take on at the age of 90-something. It's definitely an adjustment. I only have one biological grandparent left - my mom's mom. Which reminds me, I need to write her a letter. Anyway, I'm starting to worry that my children won't be able to meet or even take pictures with any of their great-grandparents. I have a few pictures with mine, and although I didn't know them, I at least had some pictures with them. My children might not have that with any great grandparents.
My mother's surgery went really well. She's been up and moving without much of a problem at all! I helped her get home on Friday and I'll be here until tomorrow evening. She doesn't need much help but we've gotten some things in place for her so she can go longer stretches of time without people helping her do things - like picking up things from the floor! I love playing nurse, so it's been kind of fun. Though I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty tired. But she's my mom! I'm happy to help.
My last bit of news is about my dizziness problem. The doctor believes it's just an electrolyte imbalance. That makes sense, I've had a lot of stressors in my life lately including illness which can shock your system and throw things out of balance. Some gatorade and I should be as good as new. I already feel better two days later so I think that's all it was. Thank goodness!
No pictures to show on this one, sorry about that! I really hate posting without pictures, but I will get better I promise. A big thank you to my few loyal readers (Jessica, I saw you posted a few comments to!! Thank you hun!). I hope to get out of my blogging slump soon!
