1. How often do you get sick with a cold? The flu?
I used to get a cold every summer, especially when I was a lifeguard or babysitting. Now it seems I get sick every Fall. Darn college students. I've probably only had the flu a handful of times in my 24+ years of existance.
2. Are you the sort of person who goes to work or school no matter how sick you are or are you willing to stay at home when it gets bad?
Depends. If I'm contagious then I definitely stay home. If not, it depends on my energy level. Most of the time I head to work but if it's a slow day and I feel like crap, then it's back to bed for me!
3. Will you get a flu shot?
Got it already. They had a free clinic through our Pharmacy School so I signed up. First one in my whole life, and I felt horrible for a few days afterwards (like I got the flu). Debating about getting the swine flu shot... **ahem** I mean H1N1. whatever....
4. What do you do to keep from getting sick in the winter?
Nothing. I have been better about drinking water and washing my hands/using Purell at work. That seems to be helping quite a bit. Just used Lysol all over my desk this morning.
5. What is your favorite thing to do when you stay home from work or school?
I would love to say "sleeping" or "watching movies". I do watch movies and sleep but I usually end up doing something I don't normally have time to do. Like write letters or finally email people back. With a movie playing in the background :-)

McPhee Sale
There's not much to say about this event but it's become a true tradition that I love to be a part of. The McPhees have a large red angus cattle ranch and once a year they have an auction to sell off part of their stock and this is when my in-laws bulk theirs up! I finally took my camera to get a few shots and I think I got some good ones. Check it out!

The heifers went in the morning, then we had lunch, then off to the bull sale. I wasn't feeling well so we left right after lunch so this was one of the last pictures I got. More next time I hope!
