Today I woke up to a fabulously sunny Fall morning. Around 50 degrees, I figured I would freeze on my way to my car and then to the office, but I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to step outside with just a sweatshirt (unlike the heavy snow jacket I had on yesterday). As I was driving down Monterey Avenue, I was mezmerized with the way the light was hitting the trees. As I drove further, I admired the vibrant colors the leaves were turning over the tree-lined street.
And then it hit me: it was going to be pitch black before I would get home tonight, which leaves no hopes for capturing this beautiful Autumn day. I am literally kicking myself for not coming up with some reason to stay home so I could travel the city with my camera. This would be a great day to practice because of all the good lighting, and it's all going to waste as I sit here in this dark and dusty office for 8 hours.

Poor Meghan. It really was a beautiful day yesterday. Hopefully we'll see more of it over the weekend. Looking forward to some gorgeous fall pictures!
